This estate (possibly vintage but can't say for sure) 14K gold ring originally featured its marquise-shaped sapphire and diamond setting in a traditional north-south orientation. I found it and immediately saw it differently—so I had the entire setting reoriented east-west, transforming it into a modern evil eye silhouette. Last photo is the before shot!
At the center is a 0.30 carat sapphire, surrounded by 0.30 carats of natural diamonds for 0.60 carats total gemstone weight. The original estate setting gives it the character of an older piece, while the redesign makes it feel completely current.
A true Today’s Stack transformation: old gold, reimagined.
